Whenever using terpenes, it’s important to remember to dilute them first. The ideal dilution for most terpenes is around 3% — but some manufacturers maintain concentrations as high as 5%.
Does Durban Poison Terpenes Contain Any Additives?
No, none of our terpene concentrates contain any added ingredients. We don’t use fillers, preservatives, or synthetic flavoring in our products.
Do Finest Labs Terpenes Contain CBD or THC?
No. We use a method of extraction called hydrodistillation to separate the terpenes from other components in the plant. Cannabinoids like CBD and THC are too heavy to evaporate with the terpenes and are easily removed from the final extract.
This means all our terpenes are fully legal in all 50-states.
How Do I Store My Terpenes?
The best place to store terpenes is in a fridge or other cool, dark, and dry location. Terpenes will last the longest if kept in the sealed container they arrived in. Avoid opening the bottle unless necessary, and always seal the bottle as soon as you’re done using it.
Terpenes will not go bad, but they can start to lose their potency after a few years or if stored incorrectly. You may notice the smell of the terpenes becomes less intense over time.
Are Terpenes Psychoactive?
Some terpenes are psychoactive (namely salvinorin A and myristicin) — however, none of the products offered on Finest Labs contains these ingredients. All our terpene extracts are completely non-psychoactive.
